John David Roberts, professionally known as John Roberts, is a Canadian-American television journalist and Fox News co-anchor of America Reports. Starting in Canadian radio in the 1970s, he moved to TV with CITY-TV and MuchMusic before joining CBS News, where he served as chief White House correspondent and weekend anchor. At CNN, he co-anchored American Morning and reported internationally. Since joining Fox in 2011, he has covered major political events, served as chief White House correspondent (2017–2021), and earned multiple Emmy Awards. He is married to journalist Kyra Phillips and has four children.
