Molly Elizabeth Seidel is an American long-distance runner and Olympic marathon bronze medalist. She earned her medal at the Tokyo 2020 Games in just her third marathon, becoming the third American woman to achieve this feat. A four-time NCAA champion at Notre Dame, Seidel has personal bests including 2:23:07 in the marathon and 1:08:29 in the half marathon. She is also known for openly discussing her experiences with OCD, eating disorders, and ADHD, using her platform to advocate for mental health. After injuries and burnout on the roads, she transitioned toward trail and ultrarunning, earning entry to the 2026 Western States 100.
