Sarah Fisher, the longtime partner of actor Anthony Head, passed away after a brief battle with anaplastic thyroid cancer, a rare and aggressive form of the disease, which she fought for less than six months before her death
. She died at her home at Tilley Farm, a 90-acre animal sanctuary she managed, leaving behind a legacy of animal welfare advocacy
. Her sudden passing was described by her daughters, Emily and Daisy Head, as “immensely shocking” and came with very little warning
Fisher was widely recognized for her work in animal rights, serving as an ambassador for Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, a patron of Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary, and founding Animal Centred Education (ACE), a program focused on compassionate animal training
